JAKARTA, 22 December 2020 – MiChat (pronounced as my-chat) announced the release of a new Game Centre feature! This feature provides a much more entertaining and refreshing experience for our users to interact and engage each other. This feature comes with MiChat’s latest application update.

The Game Centre feature is in line with MiChat’s vision to be an innovative, multifaceted and fun-filled interaction platform for users to communicate and form a close-knit community.

The Game Centre provides users with a different dimension to engage other users. Presently, users can access several games, such as Ludo Super, Domino 200k and Crazy Kart. As users are signed in to their MiChat accounts, no further log-in is required. This makes access easy and seamless.

The true exciting feature is however the leader board system that shows user ranking for each game. Users can then challenge other users by overtaking them on the leader board. To further make the entire experience seamless, users are able to directly challenge others and compete in real time!

As part of the launch and for a limited time only, MiChat is offering attractive prizes for users who play the games in the Game Centre. The prizes include the latest trending smartphone such as iPhone, OPPO and etc. Prizes are awarded to players who play the selected game(s) the most number of times. We intend to give out mobile phone credits daily and a smartphone weekly. Users should read the promotion details for the game(s) selected for this promotion and the corresponding period(s).

To access the Game Centre, users should select the “Friends” tab, followed by selecting the “Game” button.

MiChat will definitely be adding more games to the Game Centre in the near future. Interested game publishers should write to Igor at igor@michat.sg to discuss cooperation possibilities. Users who are keen to have their favourites games be on the Game Centre can drop us a comment on the relevant Facebook post and Instagram post. Users should include the hashtag #GamingOnMiChat!

Considering the highly unfortunate and stressful COVID-19 pandemic, it is our sincere hope that this latest update helps our user community cope and improve their wellbeing. Users who are stressed or bored due to government-mandated social restrictions now have another safe avenue to be entertained and engaged. With such entertaining games on offer, we hope users will be less inclined to leave their homes, therefore complying with social restrictions and helping to contain the pandemic spread.

“As part of our long-term vision to always innovate new experiences in interaction, the Game Centre is one such innovation. It is a testament as well to how we are adapting to the current situation and prioritising the wellbeing of our users. I am confident our users will agree that this is an exciting and entertaining new way to interact, communicate and stay connected with their friends,” said Gerald Mursjid, Chief Representative Officer of MiChat Indonesia.
